Food is a hugely important subject to our residents and menus are reviewed frequently to incorporate the likes and avoid the dislikes identified in each unique care plan. The initial assessment visit undertaken with each resident enables us to identify preferences and any cultural, religious or special dietary needs.
We only use fresh ingredients from our local suppliers RP Setchfield and RK Harris and meals are all home-cooked. Residents may dine in their rooms or in our dining room. Guests are welcome to come for dinner at any time.
We serve three main meals a day; breakfast, lunch and tea interspersed with drinks and nibbles throughout the day. We have a fully functioning sweetie trolley in the hall filled with delights that residents can help themselves too alongside a mini fridge filled with delicious cold drinks and the odd alcoholic beverage of course!
