We aim to provide a total range of care in collaboration with all appropriate agencies, to meet the overall personal and health care needs of our residents. Visits to the home are made by district nurses, opticians, chiropodist and hairdresser.
Each residents agreed personalised care plan provides the basis on which Alexandra Court’s care service is delivered. Each resident’s plan includes a description of their likes and dislikes in relation to food and any specific dietary requirements they require. It also includes details of risk management plans that might be needed and details of health care needs.
Alexandra Court is regulary visited by the local doctor although residents may remain under the care of their own doctor if they wish.
Bedrooms are cleaned daily to a high standard and resident’s laundry is carried out on a daily basis.
